What is the process of getting a website?

How can I ensure that my website is completed on time?
At each stage of the project, we will require feedback from you before proceeding to the next stage. To ensure that your website is completed within the specified timeframe, please provide feedback as soon as possible. We will specify how soon we will require feedback in order to stay on track with our timeframe.
How many pages can I have on my website?
Your chosen package will outline the number of pages we will add and once the website is completed, you will have the ability to add as many pages as you like.
Do I have to keep my website with you forever?
No, once we have completed your website and all payments have been made, it is yours.
What if I don’t like the design you have provided?
Before beginning your project, we will send you a research document which helps us gain an understanding of what your needs are. You are involved every step of the way so you will have opportunities to guide us in the right direction.
Can you update or redesign an existing website?
Yes, absolutely, we are happy to have a look at your current site and provide a quote.
Can you add products to my shopping cart?
Yes, we can add products and will provide a quote dependent on the number of products.
What is a Domain Name?
A domain name is your own personal online address. Every website has a distinct domain name which differentiates it from other sites. It is good to have a domain name that either reflects, or closely reflects, your business name or type of business, as it will make it easier for people to remember.
Once you register a domain name, it’s yours for the period that you have registered it. Once it is due for renewal, you must renew it in order to stop anyone else from registering it.

Web Hosting is a service that houses, services and maintains the files that make up a website. This is what allows your website to be accessible to the public, on the internet. Your website information needs to be stored somewhere in a secure and controlled environment to ensure that it remains accessible as much as possible.

There are numerous web hosting and domain services who provide these services.
Will my website work on mobile devices?
Yes, your website will be viewable on a mobile device.
What is a Content Managed System (CMS)?
A Content Management System is a system that is used to manage the content of a website. It is a user-friendly, non-technical software tool that allows you to create and edit content, therefore, you have greater control of your website. As your business grows or changes, you can change your website to suit.
If you purchase a Content Management System, as part of the package, we provide a tutorial to show you and your staff how to create, edit or update content on your site.

Who will write the content for my website?
All quotes include you providing content for your site. If you require us to write content for the site, we can provide a separate quote for this.
What format should I provide content and images in?
All content must be provided by you, unless we have quoted on this separately. This includes text, images and any other media required for the completion of this project. All content and photographs provided by you need to be supplied in a digital format such as jpg or png, however, depending on your project we will let you know what will work best. Stock photographs can be purchased at an additional cost.
All logos are to be supplied in .eps or vector format.
Can you provide photos for my website?
We are happy help you source stock photos from various sites. All photographs provided by you need to be supplied in a digital format. Stock photographs can be purchased at an additional cost. We can also recommend professional photographers you are able to use if you would like to have a photoshoot done.
Can I display videos on my website?
We can display videos on your website, however you must upload the video to YouTube and then supply it to us.
Can I update content on my website?
Yes, you will be provided with a remote tutorial during which we will provide you with instructions on how you can update content on your site.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is the use of strategies and techniques to increase the amount of visitors to your website by gaining a higher ranking in search engines such as Google. Are there any hidden costs?
No. The quote provided will outline what services we are offering for the price quoted and we will ensure that all work that you have requested is included in the quote.
What are your payment terms?
For websites and large projects, we usually require a 35% deposit before we begin work. The final payment will then be due on the completion of the live site or the project. Small updates will be invoiced upon completion. The payment terms are usually 7 days.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept direct bank transfers or credit card. Our invoice will outline our payment methods in detail.
TRAINING, SUPPORT AND WARRANTY
Do you provide training?
Yes, at the end of the project, once your website is live, we will provide you with a remote tutorial to show you how to update content and pages on your website.
What warranty do you provide after the completion of my website?
We provide a minimum 7 day warranty period which begins once the site is completed. An extended warranty can be purchased at an extra cost.
Do you offer a Maintenance option?
Yes, we offer a range of maintenance options which will be sent to you once your project is completed.
